4 PAYE schedule
Method (cumulative): each employee's taxable income for the year is projected from their year-to-date income plus this month's income for the remaining months they'll be employed. Tax on that amount uses the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 bands (first ₦800,000 at 0%, then 15%, 18%, 21%, 23% and 25%). PAYE this month = tax due to date − PAYE already deducted this year. Joiners are taxed only on income from their joining date; in a leaver's final month the year's tax is settled, and any over-deduction shows as a negative amount (refund due).
